Homemade Coffee Bombs
Ingredients
•Instant coffee, 6 teaspoons
•Cocoa powder, 3 teaspoons
•Creamer, 3 tablespoons
•Chocolate chips, half a cup
Equipment
•Microwave
•An oven-safe plate
•Spoon
•Silicone half-sphere mould.
Steps
1.Melt the chocolate
Put the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, and microwave the mixture to melt the chocolate. Typically, this takes 60 seconds.
2. Dress the mould
Put a tablespoon of the chocolate into each half-sphere shape after taking it out of the microwave. To completely coat the moulds, spread the chocolate around them.
3. Place the chocolate.
To help the chocolate solidify, place the mould in the freezer. Normally, this takes around 10 minutes, but if you leave them in for too long, they can fracture during the next step.
4.Remove the spheres
Remove the spheres with care from the silicone mould. Avoid touching the chocolate too much to prevent any cracking or shattering.
5.Add the Fillings
Half of the chocolate bowls you’ve prepared should have a spoonful of cocoa powder added. On top of the cocoa powder, add a teaspoon of instant coffee and a half-teaspoon of creamer.
6.Heat a Plate.
In the microwave, preheat a small dish for 45 seconds.
7. Build the Spheres
Place an empty half-sphere on the hot plate, pressing it down until the edge begins to melt. Ensure that the edges are precisely aligned and place this on top of a filled half-sphere. Run a clean finger over the spherical to remove any extra melted chocolate. Recur this procedure.
